Lots of festivals, screenings, albums' released, etc. CN's music is all over the place. (Check out "what's next" for Mary's Journal, Case Closed, Brother's Reaction, Abidjan, S&M and Lucky Days show times.)
It's official, three of CN's features have been picked up and are being distributed. It's so great to have these out in the world:
*Lucky Days screenings / theatrical release Now and through the summer (followed by DVD August 11, Netflix, Itunes as well as score on Itunes.) L.A premiere announcement soon!
*Eavesdrop film is available now (iItunes, Netflix rental/instant view, DVD on sale) Score soundtrack (cn's 8th album) featuring Ethel, Eroica Trio, Harp and Jazz Quintet on CDBaby / Itunes soon, in July.
*Everything's Jake soundtrack and a new compilation "(short) film music volume one" are now on CDBaby / Itunes. Shortmusicfilm.com will go live soon to promote (s)fmv1. These soundtracks mark CN's 6th and 7th albums. Tracks from both are on the player (above) and "hear" page. Everything's Jake film is on Netflix, DVD.
More big news soon: New web-isode horror film, Jazz albums in planning stages, instrumental & B sides version of De La Sur release soon and Animated feature Panda coming along all the while. (Short) film music volume two is coming up soon.
Sneak peek 2010 tracks for recently completed films: comedy short Case Closed, Horror web-isode Mary's Journal, feature doc Giant Place Detail (45 minutes of music for bass, cigar box / treated electric guitars, voice, whistling and vibraphone) and another twisted Le Chat Noir short S&M in player above and "hear" page. 2010 is sounding VERY DIVERSE! These scores range from quirky Americana to Symphonic to spacey/world/atmospheric to HARD HARD ROCK. Schizophonic indeed! More Features in talks and pre-production.
(still) IN PROGRESS ALBUM : SPACE BAR, another cn magum opus, the Double album of songs, music and sound is under way. Check out "sidewalk," the first completed track as well as the rough/demo tracks. This collaborative project will involve writers (Matthew Miele, Lorraine Martindale and Dana Goldstein), graphic designer Rammer Martinez, artists, video artists and musicians (including drummer / producer Casual T.) Spacebaralbum.com will go live one of these days and will feature tracks for sale, a blog, garage band files and a collaboration hub (for artwork and videos) - all leading up to a physical release one of these years. ("hear" or "buy")
