BIG NEWS:

CN is proud and honored to be part of the Sundance Family, as a Composer / Fellow in the 2015 Sundance Institute & Skywalker Sound's Music and Sound Design Lab for Documentary Film at Skywalker Ranch. CN went to Park City UT in January, where he had Slamdance and Sundance Alumni Credentials, for the first time.

Another big honor -  CN was a featured guest at the Nacogdoches Film Festival. For the first time (and in the oldest town in his home state), the composer was present for screenings of four of his films / scores (Two Texas premieres and two Slamdance Award winning films) following by a Q'n'A, on Thursday February 25th, at the Cole Arts Center.  Wally Chung's Spirit of Slamdance Award Winning "Think Ink", Chandler Kaufman's "Karl Manhair Postal Inspector", Sam Miron & Stephen Scott Scarpula's "A New High" and, last but not least, Nicole Teeny's Slamdance Best Documentary "Bible Quiz". Yee Haw!!! CN led a film scoring master class for music composition majors / music students at SFA and was a panelist in several panels.

Finally, we have an updated player (hit play above, and the little "S" will shuffle) includes recent scores to award winning films!

2015 had many weekends with multiple festival screenings all over the world including festival favorites Think Ink, All in Time, Karl Manhair Postal Inspector, Missing People and A New High. (Many of these are multiple award winning, with the latter two premiering at the Los Angeles Film Festival.)  Two feature docs screened to sold out audiences at DOC NYC - A New High, which opened  Twin Cities FF, was short listed in the NYTimes  AND Missing People, listed as a must see in The Village Voice and received a Doc Nyc special mention. (Indiewire says "there's no elevator speech for Missing People.") (DOC NYC was CN's 4rth "two films in the same festival" in 2015.)  Karl Manhair screened at LA's Chinese Theater in two Festivals . All In Time and Break In screened on July at LIFE (Long Island Film Expo.) Feature Doc Missing People and comedy short Karl Manhair, Postal Inspector screened at BendFilm Festival.
