Two Trains Runnin'

I'm thrilled beyond belief to be heading to Full Frame Documentary Film Festival for the world premiere of Two Trains Runnin'. Directed by the one & only Samuel D. Pollard, written/produced by the very insightful author (& new father) Benjamin Hedin, and edited / co-produced by wonder of the world Dava Whisenant.  I’m so honored to have composed & performed the original score for this amazing documentary focused on events in Mississippi in June of 1964, where blues fans' search for Skip James & Son House intertwines with Freedom Summer. Narrated & EP'd by Common, it features performances by Buddy Guy, Lucinda Williams, Chris Thomas King and Gary Clark Jr. (as well as featuring original music by the latter.) The Friday night Center Frame screening at Carolina theater is SOLD OUT and on saturday we’re off to Asbury Park Music In Film Festival for a 1pm screening, followed by a performance by chris thomas king.
Gonna be a wild ride.
